Abolish the Death Penalty

 

October 10 marks World Day Against the Death Penalty, a day when activists around the world commemorate their work toward ending capital punishment. Spearheaded by the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty, composed of nearly 140 organizations worldwide, this year is particularly important as it marks the World Coalition’s 10th anniversary. John Getsinger will describe the progress that has been made, both in the United States and internationally, toward abolishing or narrowing the scope of the death penalty. He will also describe future challenges that lie ahead.

Please bring your lunch and beverages will be provided. Application for one CLE credit will be made.
