Human Trafficking is a grave human rights violation that occurs throughout the world, including in Minnesota. Victims of human trafficking are exploited for both labor and/or sex. Minnesota has been a leader in its response to sex trafficking, and we are building awareness of labor trafficking. This CLE seminar will explain the international, federal, and local definitions of human trafficking, explore the dynamics of human trafficking in Minnesota, and discuss what Minnesota is doing to fight and prevent it. Presenter: Beatriz Menanteau, staff attorney with The Advocates' Women's Human Rights Program
