Communications Internship

Location: Twin Cities Metro     Salary: Unpaid      Deadline: Open until filled

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Intern needed to help place copy and photos on a new, redesigned website.

Other tasks may include:

  • Write press releases and news items
  • Assist with social media
  • Assist with event promotion
  • Assist with creating general marketing and communications publications

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Interest in and experience with social media, especially Twitter and Facebook
  • Basic web editing experience preferred; experience in HTML a definite plus
  • Interest in web and user experience
  • Photography skills a plus
  • Excellent organization and task management capability
  • Ability to handle tasks with minimal supervision
  • Clean communication and reliable follow-through on assignments
  • Attention to detail

Additional Information:

  • Hours: 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility
  • Position open until filled
