Diaspora Community Survey
Diaspora's Globe

The Advocates for Human Rights is working on a project with diaspora communities. As part of this project, we are conducting a survey with people who belong to diaspora communities to learn more about them and the human rights issues they care about.  (Click here to learn more about human rights issues.)

Not sure what "diaspora" means or what diaspora communities do? To find out whether you are part of a diaspora community, and to learn more about diaspora advocacy on human rights issues, click here.

In this survey, we want to learn:

I. Background About You
II. Issues (or Problems) in Your Country of Origin You Care About
III. How You Get Information About Those Issues
IV. How You and Your Community Take Action
V. What More You Want to Do
VI. Diaspora Community Organizations or Groups

The Advocates for Human Rights is an independent, volunteer-based nongovernmental organization committed to the impartial promotion and protection of international human rights standards and rule of law. We will not share your answers with anyone else.

We will use the survey answers to create human rights tools for diaspora communities. The tools will help support diaspora groups and individuals as they engage in advocacy on human rights issues in their countries of origin. For examples of the human rights tools we might create, click here. Thank you for your help with this project!
