Please join The Advocates for a free documentary film screening at Oxboro Library on September 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. We will be showing Trafficked in America, the most recent film by our 2019 Human Rights Awards Dinner speaker and award recipient, Prof. Andrés Cediel. The documentary explores a criminal network that forced Guatemalan teenagers to work on an Ohio egg farm, and reveals how the U.S. government's immigration policy contributed to the exploitation. The Advocates will lead a community open discussion following the screening.
