From the Arab Spring to the repression of a Russian punk band the Human Rights Channel amplifies the videos that document human rights violations and struggles for justice.

The New Heroes
A PBS four-hour series, hosted by Robert Redford, which tells the dramatic stories of twelve social entrepreneurs who bring innovative, empowering solutions to the most intractable social problems around the world.  Includes classroom materials written for students in grades 6-12 to deepen their understanding of the world and related social issues.
