Our general Human Rights Toolkit is available for people to become more familiar with the basics of human rights in the United States, the history of human rights, the mechanisms which have been developed to protect our rights, and ways to take action on human rights violations.

In this lesson, students will learn about the value of diversity and respect for others.

In this lesson, students will use pictures depicting human rights topics to create original stories and critically analyze how each story connects to different articles in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

In this lesson, students will learn how human rights create a reciprocal relationship in which we both have the right to be treated equally in dignity and justice and also have the responsibility to treat others this way.

This lesson aims to put a human face on violations of economic and social human rights in the U.S. by focusing on the issues of education, hunger, housing, and health. Suitable for high school.
