The US Human Rights Network has released a compilation of reports on human rights in the United States, including The Advocate's report on Refugees, Migrants, and Asylum Seekers.
You can download the US Human Rights Network's Human Rights Report here.
The report covers a sweeping range of human rights topics and was published in response to the US government report submitted to the UN on August 23rd. The Advocates commends the US government for its participation in the UN's Universal Periodic Review process, but there is still much work to be done in order to rectify well-documented human rights problems in the United States and ensure compliance with international human rights standards. The US government must use the submitted report to take further action to address human rights problems in the United States.
The review of the United States human rights record will take place on November 5, 2010 in Geneva, Switzerland.
