This CLE targets issues related to reporting human trafficking, assisting with the law enforcement investigation, victim advocacy during prosecution of traffickers, and working with law enforcement on behalf of a trafficking survivor.

  • Understand the role of law enforcement in labor trafficking
  • Gain knowledge of the types of law enforcement agencies that might be involved.
  • Understand the role of the attorney in interacting with law enforcement on behalf of a trafficking client.
  • Become familiar with the benefits available to a trafficking survivor through cooperation with law enforcement.
  • Learn how  effectively advocate for a trafficking client through cooperation with law enforcement.
