Human Rights Violations in Ethiopia

The Advocates for Human Rights is deeply concerned about continuing human rights violations in Ethiopia. The Advocates has raised concerns related to the treatment of Oromos in Ethiopia at several United Nations human rights bodies. We have also brought the current situation to the attention of the African Commission on Human & Peoples’ Rights.

2018 Human Rights Fact-Finding Interviews

The Advocates is currently gathering information about human rights conditions in Ethiopia, especially human rights-related actions taken by the Ethiopian government. We will use this information to write reports for the United Nations. If you have first-hand information from 2014 to now about human rights violations in Ethiopia, we are interested in talking to you. We can keep your information anonymous and confidential. If you have information, you can read more about the fact-finding interviews and fill out this brief intake form. A volunteer will contact you for an intake interview.
