The Advocates for Human Rights has partnered with the Bulgarian Gender Research Foundation (BGRF) for more than 20 years to change laws and practices on domestic violence. By using volunteers to train, monitor and drive legal reform, The Advocates and BGRF have worked collaboratively to advocate for new laws, train prosecutors, judges and police on effective responses to violence against women, monitored the government response to domestic violence, and conducted joint advocacy before the UN. Join panelists, BGRF Executive Director Genoveva Tisheva, the Honorable Kathryn Quaintance, the Honorable Laura Nelson Olmstead, and Robin Phillips to hear about their work on the partnership to end violence against women in Bulgaria. The panel will be followed by a reception.

Application will be made for one standard CLE credit.
