The Advocates for Human Rights maintains a panel of volunteer interpreters and translators to help our low-income clients. Volunteer attorneys representing a client through The Advocates for Human Rights may request an interpreter by completing the form below. Please submit this request at least one week in advance of your appointment. We will do our best to find a volunteer to help, but we cannot guarantee that a volunteer will be available. We ask that attorneys seeking interpreters for their clients' upcoming asylum interviews and preparation please utilize their own networks first to find interpreters and then consider hiring a court interpreter. For medical appointments, please seek a medical interpreter.
If you do not receive an email from The Advocates confirming that your request has been received, please contact Sasha Phelps at sphelps@advrights.org or 612.746.4686.
