Rosalyn Park presented for the Centre for Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics on November 7th on a panel called “Gender Equality: How can the UN lead?” alongside distinguished experts such as Dr. Navi Pillay, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Afterwards, she spoke at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London on the panel "Women and the UN Origins - A Southern Critique". This has all been through Park's role on the UN Gender Network, a collaboration based out of the University of Durham examining gender inequality within the United Nations. As part of the UN Gender Network, The Advocates contributes extensive pro bono resources to its work. This summer, 18 summer associates from 4 firms plus 3 interns worked to map out gender equality policies in all 65 UN bodies for the UN Gender Network. On November 14th, Park returned to the Network's third workshop.
