Beth Haney, Administrative Director


Beth Haney is the Administrative Director at The Advocates for Human Rights. Prior to this, Beth served in a variety of operations and organizational management roles, including the Vice President of Operations for YOXO (a local start-up toy company), Operations Director of Free Bikes 4 Kidz, and Senior Operations Consultant for Grassroots Solutions. Beth also spent eight years as a stay-at-home parent while engaging in short-term consulting and volunteer opportunities, such as facilitating community input for the planning of the Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood, assisting with campaign operations for Minnesotans United for All Families, and providing research and evaluation counsel to a variety of local nonprofits. Beth began her career as an advocate for programs and policies for children and their families, working in child welfare at the Minnesota Department of Human Services and then as the Research and Outreach Director for Children’s Defense Fund Minnesota. Beth enjoys volunteering for nonprofits that aim to improve community for children and youth. She has served on the Board of Directors for Prepare + Prosper and Teenwise Minnesota. Beth has a BA from Wesleyan University and a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
