The Advocates comments on the case of Ahmay Ya, a Karen woman seeking her father's safety and freedom, who reportedly has been apprehended by Burmese officials. "Their record of human rights abuses against dissidents is extensive and brutal," said Michele Garnett McKenzie, Advocacy Director.
