Case Summary: Ms.G.C. was 10 years old when her mother began sex trafficking her in their home country, without her father's knowledge. Ms. G.C's mother would tell her she had to participate in the sex trafficking to help the family financially and would punish her if Ms.G.C didn't comply. Ms.G.C's mother was also involved with two members of rival gangs, resulting in her father being killed by one of them. After the family relocated in fear they would face the same fate as Ms.G.C's father, her mother continued to traffic her and forced her to be in a relationship with an older man when she was 13 y/o. Ms.G.C. is afraid she will be trafficked again if she were to return to El Salvador.
