Case summary: Ms. J's father passed away a couple years ago but never had a good relationship with him. Ms. J's mother relocated to a different country but was unable to bring Ms. J with her due to financial reasons, but continued to maintain a relationship with Ms. J. Ms. J was left in the care of her uncle Unfortunately, due to gangs in the area, Ms. J's life was impacted and she was unable to attend school. Ms. J decided to come to the U.S. with her uncle, but were separated and she was placed in a foster home after she was released from ORR.
