Programs: Immigration Legal Services

As Intake Coordinator, Fredi is the first person potential clients of The Advocates interact with when seeking our assistance. By conducting comprehensive intake interviews and initial assessments of client needs, he ensures legal staff have what they need to best assist our clients in the complicated immigration legal system.

Recently, Fredi completed a year of service with the Benedictine Volunteer Corps where he taught English to high school students in Guatemala, and also had the opportunity to do work with the town's migrant shelter. When studying at Saint John's University, he was a student supervisor with SJU's Campus Ministry, overseeing service projects and promoting volunteer programing to undergraduate students. He also completed internships with the League of United Latin American Citizens in Washington D.C. and the City of Falcon Heights in Minnesota while in college.
