Date: January 25, 2024 12 - 1:30 PM
Type: CLE

To mark Human Trafficking Awareness Month, The Advocates is hosting a virtual event for those interested in volunteering to address human trafficking. Volunteer lawyers from Minnesota and other parts of the U.S. will share their experiences on volunteering with The Advocates to provide pro bono legal services to noncitizen victims of labor trafficking. The Advocates experts will also provide training to get interested volunteers familiar with trafficking basics for those interested in taking a case pro bono!

Volunteers are crucial in meeting the need for legal services that provide lifesaving stability and protections for victims of trafficking. Come learn with others about how The Advocates' supports and prepares lawyers to ensure the experience has a positive impact on the life of a survivor as well as the volunteer!
