Elizabeth Montgomery

As Volunteer Manager, Elizabeth oversees the logistical aspects of the organization's internship program, recruits volunteers and interns, collaborates with colleagues to conduct and maintain internal trainings related to volunteers and interns, and manages the daily coordination of the WATCH court observers, among other projects.
Elizabeth has served the organization previously in the Women's Rights Program before shifting to her current role. Highlights include attending the Commission on the Status of Women several times, working alongside partners to raise issues affecting them, researching the backlash against human rights, and interacting daily with WATCH court observers.
Elizabeth has long been involved in public service, interning and volunteering in various political offices and non-profit organizations before joining The Advocates.
Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree from Concordia College in
Moorhead, Minnesota and her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of
Law.
