Olivia Leyba
As the Women's Program Fellow, Olivia (she/her) drafts submissions to UN bodies, researches international human rights issues, engages in court watching, and manages intern projects. One of her early accomplishments at the Advocates was drafting the Türkiye UPR report about women's rights issues. It is important to Olivia that her work have a positive impact on the world, so human rights work was a logical choice.
Before coming to this role, Olivia worked in state and federal government offices as well as interned at the Advocates in the International Justice program. She graduated with a degree in International Relations with a concentration in economics and the racial impacts of globalization from Pomona College.
