Ricky Santos Wolf
A true Financial Wizard, Ricky Santos Wolf specializes in budgeting, forecasting, and making numbers dance like a well-trained acrobat—all to ensure every dollar stretches to its fullest potential in the fight for human rights.
Though new to The Advocates, Ricky has long been driven by a passion for making a difference. In Panama, he funded an animal shelter that supports abused and abandoned street animals and founded the F*ck It, I'm Happy project, which provides support for people living with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, addiction, substance abuse, and OCD.
What motivates Ricky most is the opportunity to create meaningful change—one person at a time. He views this work as a never-ending quest to unlock human potential, whether by supporting someone through a difficult challenge or helping a team achieve more than they thought possible. They’re here for the “aha” moments, the growth, and the impact that comes when people come together to change lives.
Ricky also can’t stand bullies—whether individuals or systems—and is proud to be part of work that stands up for those who need it most. While he may not wear a cape, he embraces the role of real-life superhero, armed with spreadsheets and a deep commitment to justice.
Before entering the nonprofit world, Ricky spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry, serving in roles such as Executive Chef, Culinary Director, Operations Director, and HR Director.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Operations Management.
