Rosa Logar
Programs: Womens Rights
Rosa Logar, Independent consultant on gender equality, prevention of violence against women and girls, and feminist peace work. Logar is co-founder of the European Network WAVE (1994), and long-term Network coordinator and member. Her international activities include:
- From 2008-2010 member of the Council of Europe Ad Hoc Committee on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence which drafted the Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention, 2011).
- June 2015 - May 2019 member of the Council of Europe expert committee GREVIO, monitoring the Istanbul Convention.
- Co-Founder and chair of Women's International League for Peace and Freedom Austria (2021) and international board member of WILPF since July 2022.
