MN Asylum Network is now meeting online!
For our September meeting, Sarah Brenes, Director of the Refugee & Immigrant Program at The Advocates for Human Rights, will discuss recent changes to US asylum regulations that have been implemented or proposed in 2020.
We’ll look at how these regulations impact asylum seekers’ work authorization, grounds for asylum, and access to due process, along with ways that we can continue to advocate with and for asylum-seeking individuals in defending their rights to asylum.
MN Asylum Network Meeting: Tuesday, September 22, 12 PM - 1:30 PM CT
Topic: “2020 Changes in US Asylum Law and Their Implications”
