"Rape on the Night Shift" screening & Panel Discussion

Join us for a screening of Rape on the Night Shift, an investigation into the sexual abuse of immigrant women who clean our malls, banks, and offices. PBS International describes, “With firsthand accounts from female janitorial workers who say they have been sexually abused by their coworkers and supervisors, the collaborative investigation tells the stories of the steep price many women in the janitorial industry pay to keep their jobs and provide for their families.” Screening of the documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with Andrés Cediel, documentary filmmaker and producer of Rape on the Night Shift, Lisa Stratton, the lawyer who represented the Minneapolis-based survivor in the film, Lindsay Brice, Law and Policy Director of MN Coalition against Sexual Assault, and Rosalyn Park, Director of the Women’s Program at The Advocates for Human Rights.
