The Advocates for Human Rights, Research in Action, and the Chair of the state of Minnesota's Missing and Murdered African American Women Task Force will be discussing their joint advocacy efforts using the United Nations review process. This presentation will highlight our recent submission to the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on violence and discrimination against Black and Indigenous women and girls in the United States. Special thanks to Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. for hosting this event.This program is a hybrid in-person/virtual event. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees who register.
