No one should be denied the right to seek asylum from persecution simply because they cannot get the paperwork filed. You can help. Learn how you can provide limited scope representation so people seeking asylum can prepare and file applications, meet filing deadlines, and move forward seeking protection from persecution.
In partnership with Stinson Pro Bono, you are invited to attend a 60-minute CLE, "Pro Se Asylum Training," presented by Hanne Sandison, Program Director, The Advocates for Human Rights. The material presented in this training is applicable to advocates and practitioners working on asylum cases in jurisdictions anywhere in the country, so all are invited join, regardless of your location. Hanne and Tim Sanders Szabo, Stinson's Pro Bono Attorney, will host a question and answer session immediately following the CLE from 3-3:30 pm.
