SIJS Cases in Minnesota: Navigating Family Court, New Rules & the Immigration Process

Free June 21st practitioner training on SIJS, covering a refresher on best practices for requesting predicate Orders in MN Courts, the new at-risk juvenile guardianship for youth between 18 and 21 years of age, as well as a refresher on SIJS practice before USCIS, including discussion of the new SIJS federal regulations and deferred action policies.

Three sessions on 1) Best Practices in Obtaining SIJS Predicate Orders in Minnesota Courts, 2) Overview of the New Minnesota Law Providing a Pathway to SIJS for Children up to Age 21, Through a Juvenile Court Guardianship, and 3) Navigating the SIJS Immigration Process, from SIJS Petition Filing Through Obtaining a Green Card.
