Singapore, Iran, Japan - OHCHR Call for Inputs about the Death Penalty - March 2022
The Advocates for Human Rights, alongside The World Coalition Against the Death Penalty, Abdorrahman Boroumand Center for Human Rights in Iran, Japan Innocence & Death Penalty Information Center, and Capital Punishment Justice Project submit this report in response to an OHCHR request to assist the Secretary-General in his report to the Human Rights Council pursuant to Paragraph 5 of Resolution 22/11 and Resolution 18/117. This report discusses the death penalty in Singapore, Iran, Japan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Tanzania.
