Starting in November 2025, Minnesota has become the latest city targeted by federal law enforcement.
The Trump administration co-opted massive numbers of federal law enforcement agents to engage in
immigration enforcement. On January 9, 2026, DHS announced Operation PARRIS. While DHS attempted to justify this as
necessary to identify fraud in refugee cases, the agency used it as a license to arrest, detain, and transfer
